IGN report revealed that BattleGrounds Mobile India (BGMI) actually sends your data to a Chinese server

Krafton has released a mobile Battlegrounds India release beta for pre-registered users on Android. This game hasn't seen an official release date in India. Krafton is About to announce the BGMI release date for iOS and Android in the coming days. While we waited for it, a new report might pull some controversy for the developer of the pubg. According to new reports, data from BGMI was sent to the server in Beijing China. The Indian IGN report, citing its sources, stated that data was sent to Tencent-Run Proxima Beta in Hong Kong, as well as the Microsoft Azure server located in the US, Mumbai, and Moscow.

The publication claims to confirm the input from the source by checking cross using the data package sniffer application. It was found that one of the servers was run by the China Mobile Communications Corporation located in Beijing. Other servers that look included Qcloud and Anticheat Expert, both of which are Tencent servers.

Data sent to China also includes user device data. Battle BattleGrounds Krafton Indian mobile phones stated that the player's personal information will be saved and processed on Indian servers. That is said, the new term also states that companies can "transfer your data to other countries" to meet "legal requirements".

Pubg Mobile was banned last year in India because of data security issues. Krafton, at that time, said that they were working with the Indian government to comply with local laws. It also announced that it had cut its publishing bond with Tencent in India to launch the game. The new report can be a cause of concern for Krafton. This happened after several political leaders demanded an alternative ban on the pubg in India. Recently, the Confederation of all Indian traders (CAIT) wrote a letter to the Minister of Electronics and Information Technology (MEIT), which stated that BGMI was a threat to Indian security.
